As the proliferation of personal smart devices increased, traditional radio broadcasting was forced to pivot in order to capture the attention of their audiences.

Internet broadcast radio has celebrated steady growth and user acquisition since 2014, as users download and stream their favorite radio stations directly to their smartphones. Today, with the increase of smart speakers, like Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Home, younger listeners are able to enjoy radio stations beyond their local offerings. Listener habits are in metamorphosis, and now is the time to leverage these platforms and create partnerships to build the Bible Audio Network.

The Bible Audio Network will use the internet and traditional broadcast radio platforms, in tandem, to reach younger listeners - whether they choose to stream onto their device or tune in while driving. Through partnerships with ministries of the same heartbeat, young listeners will be exposed to the Bible, missions, evangelism, discipleship, and orality.

Programming will include hourly sequences of dramatized Audio Bibles, recorded teaching features, and ministry messaging, along with Christ-centered worship and contemporary music. Artists like Hillsong, Passion, LeCrae, Chris Tomlin, Lauren Daigle, and Jeremy Camp will envelop interviews with ministry leaders/partners, Troy Talks, field reports, preaching and teaching vignettes, and systematic Bible teaching from the condensed transcripts of Thru The Bible. The Bible Audio Network will empower listeners to receive the Bible and its teachings in over 1,000 different languages – where they are, on the devices they use.
